Dear Friends:

The Northwest Ag Show has created a new safety awareness area called the "Safety Zone". The purpose of this area is to encourage those involved in agriculture to stay safe in their work places.

Now in its 43rd year, the show is produced by the Northwest Horticultural Congress, which is a partnership between the Oregon Horticultural Society, the Oregon Association of Nurseries and the Northwest Nut Growers Association. The show is one of the largest Ag show on the West Coast with 7,000 people expected to attend, in addition to the 220 exhibiting companies.

We would like to invite you to be a part of this new exhibit area and share your organization's work. In return for free exhibit space, we ask that you provide an interactive, educational demonstration or activity and that your booth be staffed at all times. This offer is available only to safety-related non-profit, government and university organizations; the entire area will be devoted to the promotion of safety in agriculture.

The space we have set aside for this Safety Zone can accommodate up to 6 - 10'x10' spaces. We are offering this space to you free of charge, saving your organization up to $555 in booth costs. Any furniture, electricity, carpet, etc., will be your responsibility to arrange and purchase. We have an electrical contractor and decorator available for you; order forms will be made available once you have signed up for a space.

The show runs for three days, January 24-26, 2012, and we expect your booth at the Safety Zone to be operational for the entire show. If you would like more information on the show or the Safety Zone, please feel free to contact me.

Thank you,
Amy Patrick
